As of June 1, 2015, Peconic Bay Medical Center will be part of North Shore LIJ CareConnect’s network. This is NSLIJ Care Connect’s first Eastern Long Island.

Members of CareConnect now have the option of three hospitals in Suffolk County: Huntington Hospital in Huntington, Southside Hospital in Bay Shore and Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead.
We do not yet know how this will effect other carriers’ coverage at this medical center. In some cases, other carriers will not be accepted at certain facilities once they are bought/partnered with certain companies.
