HealthPass adds new carrier partner – HealthFirst. HealthPass, a private health insurance exchange for small businesses, announced that it will offer Healthfirst insurance plans to small business employers in the metropolitan New York City and Nassau county areas. Healthfirst, a provider-sponsored health plan serving more than 1.2 million members in New York City and on Long Island, offers small employer group EPO plans to fit the needs of hardworking New Yorkers. As of 12/1/2017, HealthPass will offer the four Healthfirst Pro EPO plans in each of the four metal tiers (Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze). Their plans will be available only at initial enrollment and at renewing group open enrollment.
