NY State of Health has just released their 2014 enrollment report that breaks down the enrollment in individual health insurance and small group health insurance (SG) enrollments in New York during the 2014 open enrollment period. The full report can be accessed by clicking this link:

Below are some of the takeaways from the full report:
960,762 New Yorkers enrolled into a health plan through NY State of Health from 10/1/13 – 4/15/2014
74% of all individual enrollees in NYSOH received some sort of premium subsidy
13% Platinum, 10% Gold, 55% Silver, 19% Bronze and 2% catastrophic
52% of all NY State enrollments were from New York City, and 14% from Long Island
49% enrolled online with assistance (broker, navigator)
55% of the total enrolled were put on Medicaid
Enrollments were split 50/50 male and female
Only 3,100 businesses enrolled, illustrating the difficulties of the small business SHOP exchange
