High End Group Health Insurance options from Oxford Health
While we usually write about ways to help lower your health insurance premiums, there are some who are looking for high end group health insurance options for their NY small business. These options can be for the entire company, for a select class of employees such as management or owners, or it can be as a voluntary option for all employees to choose from. Regardless of the reason, Oxford Health Plans offers multiple high end health insurance options for your business.
High End Oxford health insurance plan options
Oxford offers 2 high end networks for their small group customers: Oxford Freedom and Oxford Liberty networks. These networks offer tens of thousands of providers in the tri-state area and when those networks are paired up with a non-gated benefit structure (no referrals to see network specialists) both of these networks offer coverage nationally thru the United Healthcare Choice Plus network.
In addition to these high end networks, plans in the Platinum metal tier have some of the most comprehensive benefits available from any insurance company. The Oxford Freedom network is available as an EPO as well as an ultra high-end PPO option.

Can I offer the Oxford Freedom or Oxford Liberty networks to a select group of employees?
Yes! In what is known as a carve-out or class out, a group can set up enrollment criteria that allows for a certain group or ‘class’ to be offered different benefits than another ‘class’ of employees. This must be done in a nondiscriminatory way such as job description, hourly vs salaried, management vs non-management as examples.
You can also offer a ‘base’ plan that all members are eligible for, and then offer some ‘buy up’ options for those who wish to pay more towards their coverage. This creates more choice amongst employees, and thus better appreciation as choice is a good thing to have when it comes to your healthcare.
There are also some high-end health plan options from Emblem Health and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield to consider. To review rates and options for your small group please request a quote and we will send you out rates and provider searches for all of the plans available for NY Small Businesses.
