Oscar Health Insurance to offer same-day home prescription delivery service

Oscar Health Insurance has announced that they will be starting a same-day home prescription delivery service. Oscar Health has partnered with Capsule, an online pharmacy made up of friendly, caring pharmacists who carry prescriptions straight to your door, at the tap of your phone!

Starting January 1, 2020, Oscar members can receive $0, same-day home prescription delivery service with Capsule (just pay your usual Rx copay). Doctors can send a prescription directly to Capsule, just like they would any other in network pharmacy. Members can also select Capsule as their pharmacy in the Oscar app before a Doctor on Call consultation. It’s built right in with our other pharmacies! Need to transfer existing prescriptions? Simply call 212-675-3900, and Capsule will handle the rest.

 

How much does Capsule cost?

• Capsule is $0 for all eligible Oscar members. Just pay your usual Rx copay.

Do members need to use Capsule?

• No – we offer Capsule for same-day delivery, but members can choose to stay with their existing pharmacy

What are the service areas?

• In New York and Lower Hudson Valley: New York, Queens, Kings, Richmond, Bronx, Westchester & Rockland counties.
