NY Department of Financial Services has released the requested 2019 Proposed NY Health Insurance Individual Rates for both small groups and individuals for plans renewing in 2019.<\/p>\n
While these are not approved rates but just requests, it gives you a sense of where the carrier rates will be going in 2019.<\/p>\n
You will notice that individual health insurance rates are expected to once again see a sharp increase in premiums. We also expect some of the other individual insurance carriers to exit the NY market.<\/p>\n
